Hey there and welcome to Body Athletics Blog!
My name is Benjamin, the developer of this great blog.
I currently am enrolled at a private college in Wisconsin with a major in International Political Economy and German. Wait…is this a fitness blog? Yea I’m also a collegiate swimmer. At first fitness started out as a responsibility towards myself, but now it’s my way of life.
I have been participating in athletics ever since I can remember. To me, athletics is more than trying to look good and get stronger; it means living a healthy, satisfying lifestyle.
I have been swimming competitively now for 14+ years now as well as lifting weights, running, biking, etc. I have had some great coaches throughout the years especially here at college.
I do most of my work right out of my dorm room. It’s pretty small but after rough swim practices and super-hectic school days it’s still a good place to crash. Don’t pay attention to the mess…just let me assure you that it could be worse, maybe I spend too much time working on this blog.
The content on this blog is a culmination of everything I have personally done or have picked up from coaches and other experts. So when you get the impression that a lot of the content is geared towards college aged, fitness fanatics…well you’re probably right. But fitness is for everyone which is what I hope to express with this blog as well.
I don’t proclaim myself to be an expert in fitness or strength training. I have tried and tested many fitness programs and training methods, and in a way this blog is a continuation of my own learning experience as an athlete trying to live life to the fullest. Hopefully we can teach each other how to make the most out of each drop of sweat we spend.
My goal for this blog is to extend what knowledge I have picked up through my life thus far to YOU the reader. I hope I can save you wasted time in the gym, pool, or wherever it is you find yourself sweating.
If you have any ideas for me to research or talk about just say so!
Thank you and enjoy!

Thank you for looking at my blog. I really like yours.
