Diabetes: Overcompensating Bloodsugar

Hey!

For those of you who are also active diabetics out there, does this every happen to you?  You wake up, blood sugar is low and you have to exercise in the morning, so you eat more than usual to make sure you don’t go low during exercise.

Diabetes

HOWEVER

Instead of making your blood sugar stable it causes levels to go too high and then your muscles and joints start to tighten making exercising harder.

This happened to me today before a swim practice and it definitely makes things a lot more difficult.

Does this sort of thing happen to you guys too or are there other things that you deal with?
